Her Son’s Bahamian Wedding
The Client
Heather Is a designer, a multimedia/medium creative. She wanted simple-yet-elegant design, and a silhouette that would feel modest and comfortable, considerate of her age and size. She required lightweight, natural fiber fabrics that would breathe in the hot august Bahamian weather. Heather procured fine Irish linen, medium-weight European linen, and luscious dupioni raw silks.
As mother of the groom, Heather chose a monochromatic palette in shades of pink, to honor the visual prominence of the beautiful bride and her attendants.
